Atticus will be talking about using React Native with Redux to manage the state in an application. Nearly all applications share a common challenge when it comes to state management. We’ll look at how Redux offers a unique solution and how well the library fits with React. This will change the way you think about React applications and start seeing them more as classical state machines, and seeing React components as two categories: data containers and presentational components.

Nick will be sharing his experience with building a simple React Native app with an “offline-first” experience. He’ll cover architectural considerations, engineering challenges and an overview of some offline storage options. Along the way, Nick will share some high level observations of the process, walk through some applied coding examples and present a brief demo of the app through a simulator.
